Region Bihar - Jharkhand:
In 2014 the Bishops of Bihar-Jharkhand had taken a decision to bifurcate BIJHAN Bishop’s Conference into two units separating Jharkhand from Bihar State. This finally came to be in September 2015 and we have now the bifurcated two units. With this the Pontifical Mission Organisation (PMO) unit of undivided BIJHAN has also bifurcated into two, one for Bihar Region and another for Jharkhand Region. The Jharkhand Region includes the Dioceses of Jamshedpur, Khunti, Simdega, Gumla, Archdiocese of Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Daltonganj and Port Blair. With this, we have also begun the process of streamlining the PMO unit of Jharkhand.

In September 2015, the Diocese of Jamshedpur organized a Programme for the children of the Jamshedpur Deanery at the Cathedral Parish Golmuri. Children from 8 Parishes took part in this Programme. The thrust was to inculcate missionary zeal in the students. This was also timely as it helped to prepare the students to actively participate in the forthcoming Mission Sunday on 18th October 2015.

The children had other competitions too. A few photos from this Programme are included:
