MISSION SUNDAY SETS OFF FESTIVE MOOD IN SAGAR, Karnataka

Sagar, Nov 22: Mission Sunday was solemnly celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church on 15th and 22nd Nov 2015. Regional Secretary of KRCBC-Commission for Proclamation and Evangelization, Rev. Fr Stanislaus Manickam celebrated the Holy Eucharist and gave a call to the parishioners to be missionaries in the Church and enlightened the faithful to proclaim the Good News.

























JOSIAD – 2015 Inter-ward tournament was arranged both for men as well as women. On 15th Nov, Volley-ball matches were organized for the men of different wards, and on 22nd Nov, Throw-ball matches were arranged for the women. The Vincent De Paul Society collaborating with Fr. Venus Colaco took the initiative and the match was held in memory of Late Fr. Jossy Sequeira. Various Associations conducted interesting Lucky Games. All the 24 wards of the Church showed their active participation in all the activities. There were also varieties of food counters arranged in the grounds simultaneously during the matches. All the faithful participated in the celebration as one family in large numbers. The day ended with a beautiful cultural programme by the Associations of the Parish.

























The Mission Sunday festivities in Sagar are going to last for another two Sundays i.e. from 15th Nov to 6th December.
