MALTA Delegation at Jyoti Seva Society (School for the visually impaired children)–12th February 16

On a Mission visit to the Jyoti Seva Society (School for the visually impaired children) the three visiting missionaries from Malta – Msgr Salvinu Micallef, Fr Rosario Galdes and Mr Patrich Fenech – witnessed the noble work rendered by the Franciscan Sisters at their Jyoti Seva Society Home.

The children welcomed their well-wishers with a series of soulful, melodious songs that enthralled everyone listening! This was followed by ‘Story-time’ by the National Directors. While National Director PMO India - Rev Fr Faustine L Lobo, encouraged the children to dream big and give their best to fulfill it through a story, National Director PMS Malta – Msgr Salvinu explained through another story how each one, regardless of how they were made, played an important part in God’s plan.

The children listened with rapt attention and answered questions with enthusiasm. Following this, the PMO Teams visited the School and learned of various ways that the Franciscan Sisters serve in progressing the children’s education.
