The National Council Meeting February 2020 held at CRI Brothers’ Institute
The National Council Meeting February 2020 held at CRI Brothers’ Institute, Bangalore, was a time of introspection and planning to promote the four Pontifical Mission Societies of the Pontifical Mission Organizations India. The PMO India Handbook that was recently approved and published by the Board of Trustees was shared with the Regional Directors as a cohesive guide to grow the Pontifical Societies within International PMS Statues.

Although the focus points for discussion involved creative methods to promote and grow “Little Missionaries” through the Missionary Childhood Associations (MCA), the Regional Directors in the National Council found it encouraging for the Pontifical Mission to initiate and inculcate the importance of all the four Pontifical Mission Societies among the faithful, as applicable with the cultural and faith environment.

The next step is to expand knowledge of the processes involved in the Pontifical Mission Organizations India as per guidelines outlined in the Handbook by organizing Regional Councils to disseminate what was discussed in the National Council Meeting to the network of Diocesan Directors working with them.
